Meet Josh Aubuchon
Overview
Mr. Aubuchon represents clients before the Florida legislative and executive branches on a variety of matters, including alcoholic beverages, property and automobile insurance, tort reform and healthcare. He has a solid understanding of how to effectively advocate on behalf of clients in both these branches of state government. In addition, Mr. Aubuchon assists clients in the areas of federal and state alcohol beverage licensing, and administrative and regulatory issues. He currently serves as the general counsel and lobbyist to the Florida Brewers Guild.

How The Beer Industry Can Brew Better Franchise Laws
Unknown to most outside the beer industry, so-called “franchise laws” refer to the statutory restrictions that govern the relationships between brewers and distributors (wholesalers) which limit or severely restrict the ability of a brewer to change their distributor. While I offer the caveat that many brewers work well with their partners in distribution, the many brewers also deal with the futility of effecting changes to their distribution agreements due to the hurdles in place through state franchise laws.
